3d manga sounds great...

and seriously, i think it's much harder to make 3d model in software than to assemble it in "real life" - rendering is good enough, u don't have to "print" it in real life (unless u want to for some reason, of course...) e.g., i'm reading scans of manga on screen and i don't need to print it (unless i'm somewhere where i can't read it otherwise)

ha good to know about 2.5 concept, last year i made a test print with a rapid prototyping printer, it was not goodsmile quality but better then i expected. unfortunatly it would have costed 400 euro (i got it for free 1 time). i think ill wait until i can affort a printer myself one day. untill then i plan to make something like a 3d manga this year. but so far i only have one character set up with face expressions. cloths are still completely missing :P ill make a test render once im back in office.

btw, that gundam plamo is so cool! (・ω・)

u know, it's a completely new level of abstraction from reality - to assemble plamo in 3d software (rather than in real world...) (笑) how cool is that!

2.5次元 of sorts... ;)
